Technical Scope

  • Finishing Pantographs: High-spec rail components requiring a flawless industrial finish.

  • Surface Preparation: Sanding, degreasing, and masking complex stainless steel geometries and weldments.

  • Application: Proficient in wet spray application (2K Primers and Topcoats) and/or powder coating to rail industry standards.

  • Quality Control: All work is subject to external certification. The candidate must ensure coating thickness (DFT) and adhesion meet strict compliance specs.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Cert III in Automotive Refinishing Technology - mandatory

  • Detail Oriented: Must be able to follow Technical Data Sheets (TDS) strictly. This means precise mixing ratios, flash-off times, and micron-perfect application.

  • The "Finesse" Factor: We need a finisher, not just a "blaster." The work is delicate and visible—no runs, sags, or orange peel. We want someone who treats every component like a showroom piece.

  • Experienced: Previous experience in automotive, aerospace, or high-end industrial spray painting is highly regarded.

Shifts

  • Pay Rate: $40 - $50 per hour (based on experience). Candidates with experience in high-spec industrial coatings or specialized masking will sit at the higher end of the bracket.

  • Day Shift Schedule:

    • Mon–Thu: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

    • Friday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Early finish)
